Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m a Toowoomba-based portrait photographer specialising in newborns, babies, maternity, and family photography.
Since 2010, I’ve been capturing life’s most precious moments—the tiny toes, sweet smiles, and special connections that make these early years so fleeting. My calm, relaxed approach helps families feel at ease, so we can create genuine, timeless images that you’ll treasure forever.I’m also a mum of two amazing kids and a couple of fur babies, so I know just how precious these memories are. It’s such an honour to be invited into your family’s story, and I can’t wait to meet you and your little ones soon!

My studio is located in Toowoomba, QLD, with all sessions by appointment only. You’ll have access to a beautiful collection of props, blankets, and baskets, and you’re welcome to relax in the parents’ lounge while I gently photograph your precious new baby.
With many years of experience, all sessions are baby-led and focused on a simple, safe, and timeless style. I am fully vaccinated, insured, first-aid trained, and hold a current working with children blue card. All items are washed and sanitised after every session—because your baby’s comfort and safety always come first.
Outdoor sessions are also available, in one of Toowoomba's beautiful parks, or on location at your property.
Frequently asked questions
When is the best time to book a newborn session?
Places can book out months in advance, so it’s best to book while you are still pregnant. We pencil in your due date, then once baby arrives, we book in a date for your shoot within the first 1-3 weeks after baby is born.
Sessions are 100% baby led and very relaxed. Nothing is rushed and your baby comes first. If we need to spend the extra time feeding and cuddling that is perfectly ok!
I have years of experience settling babies, all I need you to do is feed your baby and I can do the rest. You can be assured your baby is in safe hands too, as a certified member of the academy of newborn photography, and all vaccinations are up to date.
Do you travel for photoshoots?
Yes! My studio is based in Toowoomba, however I love to travel for outdoor photos too! We have so many beautiful locations in the Toowoomba area that are perfect for sunset shoots. I can also come to you for a shoot at your property, there is just a small travel fee for locations outside of Toowoomba.
My baby is already 4 weeks old, I forgot to book a session, have I missed out?
Beautiful photos can be captured at any age. Once past about 3 weeks old, babies are generally more “awake” and less likely to curl up into the curly newborn positions. But this age is also great as little personalities are starting to shine through, maybe even some real baby smiles. Whilst I do book out quite early, I do try to fit in last minute bookings when I can, so please just reach out . I also offer sessions for older sitting babies which are super cute too.
How long will it take to receive our photos after our shoot?
Usually around 2-3 weeks, however during busy times it can take a little longer, which is always worth the wait. A social media preview will be posted within a few days of your shoot (if you choose to). Then everyone can see how super cute your baby is!
